    The Mac app is yours

    It's a decision, not a service. The key lives on your Mac, and if we disappeared tomorrow your phone would keep exactly the setup you gave it. The only subscription is the optional cloud, because servers bill monthly.

    • What do I need? A Mac, a USB cable, and the iPhone
    • Does setup really erase the phone? Yes, once. That is Apple's requirement for real supervision; the app backs you up first
    • Can I undo everything? Yes: plug in, restore, and it's a normal iPhone again
