Gone, not hidden

tinyphone uses real supervision, the Apple mechanism that makes restrictions un-removable, the same one schools use. Every other app asks nicely and lets you say no.

You keep the phone

This isn't a flip phone. iMessage, banking, Maps, the camera, WhatsApp, 2FA: all of it stays. What goes is the compulsion: the feeds, the store, and, if you choose, the browser.

The key stays on your Mac

No account required. The only way to change the phone is you, at your Mac, with a cable. That distance between impulse and undo is the whole design.

How it works

  1. Plug the iPhone into your Mac
  2. Pick the apps that stay
  3. tinyphone erases it once and locks it down
  4. Change your mind anytime; changes take seconds, with no erase

Before you start

  • Setting it up erases the phone one time; the app walks you through a backup first
  • You need a Mac, for setup and for later changes. A Windows version comes later
  • The lock can only be undone at your Mac, never from the phone. That is what makes it hold
  • Works with any iPhone on iOS 18 or newer
